Studiomamma was there when I recorded my very first single with my band Penny Roox. The studio days were very exciting and hectic for me, but Marije made sure I didn’t have to worry about all the things that were less important than the main focus: music. Marije made sure that as a producer, I could focus 100% on my task at hand. Which was producing for the band Psyso. Because I do many studio sessions outside my own home, and also for longer periods, I like having someone around that is responsible for this task. Starting with the preparation, Marije was deeply involved and took care of all the ’non-musical stuff’. What a wonderful experience, when a break truely feels as one, and a delicious meal is waiting for you.

When we came downstairs every morning, there was a letterboard displaying what we could expect for dinner that day (and night!!!). Besides all the budget friendly super meals Marije made for us, she’s also someone who effortlessly blends in with the atmosphere of the recording team. No doubt I’ll bring her again as a Studio-Mamma!

Last week, I was in the studio with PsySo, recording our debut EP, and this was one of the most beautiful weeks of my life.
